I finally found the name of the dessert pictured above! The night when we stopped by Bosie Tea Parlor, the waitress notified us of their dessert specials, but all I could remember was “…. …. pistachio”. After a little bit of Google research I found that it is called a Raspberry Pistachio Montabello.
The raspberry pistachio montabello was insanely good. The cake was dense but airy at the same time. It had a meringue-like cookie crunch with the center filled with pistachio cream. The ripe raspberries looked like precious stones on top giving the whole tart a pop of color and flavor.
Bosie Tea Parlor has a very extensive tea menu. Too much so that it was difficult to decide. Finally, we asked the waitress for her recommendation and we selected a coconut infused tea to go with our dessert. The coconut was very aromatic, but when tasted, it was very subtle. It was perfect dessert to end a perfect night.
